Harrison Keast

OVERVIEW

Harrison began working at Engage VR in November 2020. Harrison has shown a particular interest in working with Spinal Cord Injury clients and Stroke clients, with emphasis on trying to create a dynamic rehabilitation program that combines the latest evidence based practice with emerging technologies to provide an exciting rehab experience whilst striving towards the clients functional goals.

ABOUT

Harrison graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle in 2018. Before starting at Engage VR he worked for 2 years as musculoskeletal physiotherapist, developing skills in manual therapy, movement and postural assessment. Since this time Harrison has developed a special interest in Spinal Cord Injuries and Stroke. Harrison is looking forward to utilising ongoing technological advancements to better improve outcomes for all neuro clients, and their quality of life.

Diaphragmatic Breathing

Harrison has a particular interest in our Powerbreathe machine, working with Spinal Cord Injury clients to increase their diaphgramatic breathing ability.

Harrison has a passion for utilising Virtual Reality with clients, valuing the engaging and immersive attributes it brings to Rehabiliation.
