Meet Darcy, our passionate speech pathologist with expertise in severe and complex dysphagia in the adult population. Graduating from the University of Newcastle in January 2020, Darcy has worked with a diverse clientele in the years he has been practising as a Speech Pathologist.
By working in the public and private sector, Darcy has worked with those aged 0 to 101 in clinics, hospitals, homes and schools. He has applied his skills in clinical populations such as stroke, Parkinson’s, cancer, functional neurological disorders, and many more. Darcy enjoys implementing the four pillars of evidenced based practice when working with clients with a particular focus on informed decision making, health literacy, and advocacy.
He has returned from a fourteen month global travel adventure with his partner and is keen to work towards his clients’ goals. When not working, he enjoys playing guitar and learning languages such as Italian and Irish.
