Janaya is a creative, people‑focused professional originally from Armidale, now based in Newcastle after moving to study at the University of Newcastle. She completed a Bachelor of Creative Industries, majoring in Creative and Performing Arts, where she nurtured her passion for creativity, innovation, and community engagement.
With over ten years of experience in customer service, Janaya brings strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to caring for others. She recently expanded her leadership capabilities by completing a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management through TAFE.
Driven by curiosity and connection, Janaya is passionate about sport, community involvement, and all things creative. A dedicated member of the netball community, Janaya has played the sport for over 15 years and has umpired for more than a decade. She loves being part of a supportive, connected community and contributing to the growth and enjoyment of others. Janaya thrives in environments where she can support others, collaborate, and bring new ideas to life, and is so grateful to be a part of the Engage VR team!
